It depends on yourself, I think.
But if you take studying abroad as a goal, then you will find a lot of pain in
the future. My oppinion is, take this as a game, if you win, then you are out
here; you lose, you still had fun.
However, studying abroad will change you life totally, this is for sure. It's

LES爱情故事。但是不仅仅如此，因为人的存在是有社会属性的，所以故事里还会带入
生活其他的方面，比如学习，工作，友情，家庭，等等。
这个project主要目的是想把les的生活状态展现给其他的les和非les看。
这本书就想表达一个观点，les和其他人一样，也在过着平凡的日子；但是同时它又是
不一样的，因为它的特殊性，les承受了更大的压力，自我认同的压力以及在异国他乡
文化差异和冲突的压力。
我现在在前期征集50个故事的阶段，不论你文笔如何，请把你的真实的故事发给我们。

每个人发来的故事，无稿酬，但是有署名权。
我会在征集完50个les故事之后，用Indiegogo这个crowdfunding网站来筹集资金，如果

才15磅不到的东西啊。 我于3月16日同天一起邮寄的18磅的包裹到上海的， 3月24日
就成功投递上海了， 可是这个包裹（寄往湖北的）已经快一个月了， 还这么飘着，
难道是被武汉海关的人给收了？

先给你看一个链接：

h1b有两种激活方式：
（1）change of status，境内激活，也就是你不用出美国，你的身份会从OPT（F1）在
当年的10月1号自动变成H1b
（2）consular processing. 境外激活。也就是说，你要出美国找一个领事馆面签一次
H1b，过了之后才算H1b。面签之前你需要用OPT工作。
像你的情况，首先，你这次travel abroad，如果是10月1号之前回来，你无论如何都是
拿F1签证入境，毕竟H1要到10/01才开始生效。
然后，在你出境那一天：
(a)如果你的h1b抽中了但是还在pending(没有完全approve)，那么你就放弃了激活方式
(1)，所以你需要在10/01或之后再次出境才能激活H1B；
(b)如果你的h1b抽中了且彻底approve了，那你还享受激活方式（1）。在10/01号那天
如果你在美国，你的身份会自动变成h1b。不需要出境面签了。

2)USCIS may not know you are abroad unless your case is required to do DOS
check and they haven't done this before you leave US. But remember, you
could go to小黑屋 when entering US with AP. And IMO, you may have big
trouble in the 小黑屋.

项，估计律师看没填就写了none，我也没注意。但是我10年前左右申请学生签证时写过
自己的part time work experience，但是那个经验没有在PERM 和140里用或显示。现
在485的case 已经assigned 给IO一周了，怎么改也来不及了，好担心IO 审G-325A 时
发现和之前学生签证材料中的信息不一致会认为我有misrepresentation. 问了律师两
遍，律师说不应该是什么大问题，我再问他他就不理我了。看到网上说adjudicate 485
的时候是会翻所有以前签证记录的，那不明显不一致吗？他要是认为我故意隐瞒可怎么
办啊？本来觉得自己的case被assigned 了很开心，现在变得每时每刻都在担心，痛苦

Besides, many Taiwanese have offshore bank accounts. The reason: Unlike US
which taxes all incomes and properties where they come from/are in the globe
, Taiwan only taxes incomes and properties derived from domestic sources or
located domestically. Naturally Taiwanese places some assets abroad.
To address the issue, Taiwan can amend pertinent law--a move that has
languished for years, under different presidents--or to reduce tax.

the US in order to keep his / her Adjustment of Status application.

status。因为如果是用AP入境，入境的时候海关会给一张新的I-94，上面写的是AOS（
有效期是一年），I-94是我们在美国合法身份的文件。换句话说一旦用AP入境，我们就
成了patrol status了。将来如果要延H1B，就拿不出有效的I-94了。
