中国马在体重上比不上欧洲马，所以不能像欧洲骑士那样被装甲。
蒙古马体型小，耐力好，生存力强。
哥萨克骑兵坐骑顿河马就是由蒙古马+纯血马育种而来。
现在中国的良种马三河马和伊犁马也来自顿河马。
阿拉伯马是全球最好的马。该马体高144～152厘米，体重400～500千克。
北非的柏布马（Barb）也是很好的马。马木鲁克骑兵就是骑的柏布马。
当年蒙古骑兵败给马木鲁克，可以说是蒙古马不如柏布马。

US officials say Osama Bin Laden's body was treated with respect and buried
at sea, but some Muslims argue there was no good reason for not burying it
on land.
Islamic tradition requires the dead to be buried as soon as possible, unless
an autopsy is required.
The US military took this requirement very seriously, burying the body
within hours.
"Traditional procedures for Islamic burial were followed," an official said.
