有大志向是好事情，向高标准看齐也是好事情。然而，在不知己不知彼的情况下就树立大志向，更多时候是不知天高地厚的好高骛远；在只知其一不知其二的情况下就去贸然看齐，只怕更容易走火入魔。
油价
随着汽车走进千家万户，油价向美国看齐就成了千千万万有车一族的呼声。在他们看来中，中国油价太贵，实在是十恶不赦，而美国的油价才是合理正常。事实上，中国的油价在全世界范围来说并不算贵。我找来一组2011年3月份各国平均油价的数据，中国除了比美国贵，比大部分其他国家都便宜（说明：1美国加仑=3.7854升；数据来源：http://editorial.autos.msn.com/slideshow.aspx?cp-documentid=1183979&icid=autos_0515>1#1）：

过程中一直盯着看，发现还是中规中矩的。换油＋tire rotation一共十六元，油是
kendall gt1 synthetic blend， with liquid titanium
也没有象其他人那样拼命指出各种毛病。大概那是乡下地方的Firestone比较常用的伎
俩，繁忙地区可能没功夫干这个。
还是在我督促下丫检查了四轮的刹车，最后发现后面的刹车片可以换。约$120元，功夫
和材料还算可以。 |

My car (7 year old imported) had a problem and I went to atlantic tire
(colleague recommended), $300 later - they flashed the coolant system,
it had the same problem (fuel injector), plus they wanted me to change
this and that. I was quite upset and finally went to the dealer. Per
item, they charged more than atlantic tire, but they told me the
recommended repair was not valid. They did it for $400.
