all the Hoover coupons but didn't mention this model. I compared all the
models and thought this is the best one for us (in the meantime). Sale Price
is $169.99. Coupons stacking worked. Amazon's all time lowest price (used
urlhasbeenblocked or TheTracktor) is about $154. I don't know when we'll get
this price again.

遍的不负责任，课程要求松到不能再松,meet basic Californai's standard就好。我
们中文学校就有家长把孩子从Hoover转到Challenger，发现很多东西都没学过，孩子跟
得非常辛苦。Hoover的K班不少孩子还不会reading,在看Hat, Cat之类每页1句的
picture book; Challenger的K班孩子都在读chapter book,很多在读Charlotte's Web
之类的书.公立学校几乎不教英语语法，challenger的语法教的挺深的;challenger从一
年级就学logo编程，公校没有这些. 其他数学，阅读，写作，地理，科学，演讲，难度
都比Hoover学校高一个年级吧。 |

早上9点出发，开280多迈去las Vegas,由于是从grand canyon南面出口直接去williams
,省了些路。途中离las vegas三十迈左右经过hoover dam,游客还真多，停下来照了几张
像。大坝建筑还是很优雅的，再加上蓝天白云，景致算不错。（参见http://www.pbase.com/lovecountry/inbox 之 hoover dam)
到了las Vegas, 没费多少劲就找到了定好的旅馆，flamingo,后来才知道这是一种鸟的
名字，看上去像是丹顶鹤。排了老长的队registration。我们住在16楼的一间房，风景不
错，居然能看见bellagio的大名鼎鼎的音乐喷泉。
收拾好东西就去楼下，一楼大厅里有各种商店，食品店，当然了，少不了赌场。我们对赌
都没兴趣。不过老妈倒是被一个转盘赌吸引了。老婆在旁边算了算概率，觉得有办法获得
一定胜率，不过老妈只想看不想玩，我们就直接去flamingo的花园了。Flamingo 的花园
布置得像是热带风情，有丹顶鹤，乌龟，大鲤鱼（非常非常的 |

查了一下，是叫hoover dam bypass bridge.
但是昨天看了一个纪录片，over america，片子拍的不怎么样另说，
不过片子里面航拍的hoover dam居然能看到完整的桥，并且上面还有traffic，
看不出正在施工的样子，这是咋回事？
片子是1995年播出的，难道之前还有一座桥？
看google map，能看到未合龙的bypass, bing map更早，只能看到修了一半的路，
桥还没影子呢。 |

(Hoover Nano Light) which is probably the best vacuum under $50, this one
seems to compete with the Shark Navigator and the smaller Dyson's for much
cheaper. Although this one also has the HEPA filter over the Shark. Keep
in mind this is a "nano" vacuum so its smaller and more suited for apartment
or small home.

据我老研究dyson就是样子货我觉样子秒杀shark一条街，领先miele十几条街吧，优点
就是比较轻，另外拐弯还行行，但是看过不少review说他家吸尘器会有几条洗不干净。
hoover我有他家的洗地毯的，感觉用料做工不如shark。但是这个也不是直接对比了。
我觉得shark的3in1还不错，可以拆开光拿着电机溜达，拐弯比dyson大球略差但是也是
不错，比hoover windtunnel的好。amazon上评价不比DC41差（shark 4.6vsDC41 4.5）
，比wind tunnel好。

Hoover 有math team 参加math league之类的比赛，amc8/amc10你可以参加free的在
Montgomery College的比赛。Takoma Park的10人Mathcount team, 如果小孩不是很拔
尖，到8年级都不一定进的去， Hoover要是没有Mathcount的话，你自己就可以去组织
一个（每个学校只能参加一个队）。其它的数学竞赛也意义不大 （ARML你也可以去参
加大概四月份将在Blair集训，加入team要按成绩排)。
除了math外，其实science 和computer science的区别更大。三年computer science
和三年science还是要学许多东西的。别的初中去Blair magnet 的学生第一年很
struggle的就是computer science 和physics, chemistry；不是数学(分级上课)。当
然survive过第一年，后面就差不多。
