，I4上没有，可以自己装。我从这个地方买了trunk tray, trunk lid insulator, 还
有这个lower insulator cover，外加一套wiper blade insert。

而且上个月暖气费也是不小的一笔数目。我说要加attic insulation，现在我家的是
R28还是R30，可以加到R45，但是老公说主卧反正是vaulted ceiling，上面就是屋顶，
attic里加了insulation也不会影响主卧的温度。是这样的吗？
（另：主卧的一小半是在garage上面，可能也有关系？） |

which has a vaulted ceiling. But actually there is some space between that
and the roof in my attic. I found out my old attic insulation for the
vaulted ceiling was poorly done using fiber glass pads with many gaps.
Eventually I added quite some extra insulation with blown in cellulose and
now it feels much better. But since this room has higher ceiling than the
others, it does feel colder which is not related to insula |

那个管子挺细， 应该说走水很快， 浪费不了太多heat & water, 但是那种管状的
insulator装上去很容易， 费不了多大事， 半个小时就可以全部搞定， 但是那个
insulator也挺贵， 全包大概也要$350-$500, 不知道能不能省回来成本。
冬天还好， 当暖气的一部分， 夏天热水管散的热量还要烧空调。
另外就是有租客， 如果热水上的快， 希望他们等热水的时间短， 少浪费点水。
一个月水费$150+/family， 也挺大开销。

好处是吸附性强,缝隙填补的严实,
就是不知道是不是透气.
按理说屋顶可以的话,attic地面也可以,但如果不透气就会聚集水汽,对木质结构不好.
还有,大面积使用,可能毒性太大.
insulation有两种,fiberglass和blow-in Cellulose Insulation
如果想知道准确一点的估价,
得先说明你想做多厚(R值)的,毕竟,价钱是体积决定的. |

发帖数: 569 | 14 前几天找了个energy saver的人来看，说attic那种blow的insulation只有6英寸厚，
至少需要到12英寸，各种折扣后估价说不到300刀。可是我的attic floor几乎全铺了
地板，需要把地板撬起来，还要把地板上的10多条40英尺长的support板子（不知道
该怎么叫，就是2x6英寸）再加高6英寸，然后insulation完之后再铺上木地板。
如果让他们做地板需要几千刀。
请问有必要加attic里的绝缘棉到12英寸吗？他们说喷到12英寸后每年能省70刀。
打算自己把attic floor拆掉再铺上，可是不知道怎么把地板的那些support加高
6英寸，去HD买那些2x6的长板子然后拿钉子钉在原来的板子上可以吗？2块2x6的板子
立着罗成12英寸高是不是不稳定？ |

于封死了，attic就成房子的一部分， 也不用vent了 （现在attic就没有vent 也没
有insulate ，正准备装）
不知道对不对？ attic没vent成吗？ |

几个问题不知道是正常还是不正常：
1。坐在窗边门边能感觉到冷风从窗/门的底部吹进来，比如通地下室的门底部明显凉风
从地下室上来。
2。fireplace底部明显有风吹进来
3。我们是2400sq ft。两层楼两个heating maching。家里一般保持在69F。但是晚上上
楼睡觉以后楼下的heating关掉，早上下楼一看才54F。也就是说一个晚上的时间楼下的
温度从69降到54在室外温度大概30~40的样子。请问这样正常吗？还是insulation做得
有问题？特别是门窗和fireplace。

frames. Natural color (not painted). I wonder if any one has experience with
this 3M product. The product said "This insulator kit can be used with
aluminum, vinyl-clad, or painted or varnished wood molding, but it should
not be applied to veneer paneling or Lauan mahogany molding. "

的一面最好是朝下塞进去，以免着火。

得还是比较负责的。 这次他们把bar去掉后，在dry wall开了一个小小的opening，把
原来bar的进水口和排水口封了，重新封了drywall，然后粉刷。 但是在封进水口/出水
口的时候，有一些管子里的水难免流出来，把insulation弄湿了（已经关了总水管阀门
，同时开了低位的水龙头放水）。 我以为会用风扇吹干再封，结果直接就封了drywall
。 我担心insulation不干，也有点担心长霉。 他们说不会。
不知道是不是我大惊小怪了！

是里面insulation已经湿了，大概有一半高度，下面的一半是干的。这种情况下是不是
要把墙扒开然后换掉里面的insulation？对了，这个墙只是洗衣房的，介于洗衣房和车
库之间。
两个月了，不知道里面是不是已经干了，会不会发霉？当时忘了问他们的表是哪里买的
，什么型号。谁知道？

注意: 如果是燒油取暖是不符資格的. 我也不知其中原因.
我們幾年前做了屋頂insulation, 聯邦也貼補, 拿完reabte後變成是免費. 但你必須先
通過他們派人來做energy audit, 評估改善節能可做的項目, 然後選用名單上的
contractor . 要注意沒在list上的contractor是不能有rebate的 |

从室内的墙上打洞，然后填充insulation材料，但是家里有小小孩，没法折腾，也怕这

houses have bad or no insulation. Having insulation done can save some money
. Both oil and gas customers can have the rebate. If you are oil customer,
the rebate is covered by NSTAR, the electric company.
You can signup a service agreement with a heating company to maintain your
furnace. And another thing is how old your furnace is. If it is very old,
then you need to consider to replace it. |
