比我女汉子的人多的去了，我算比较谨慎小心的，一般会计划的比较周全。
我的建议是一个人去不是讲英文的国家，或者很陌生的文化环境，最好报团。最常见的
有intrepid travel, g advanture等等。
像印度这种相对便宜的国家，我就直接包车，省事安全。
一个人去玩需要计划的好一些，一般能看很多自己想去的地方，比较效率。缺点就是没
人照应，操心。照相总是有办法。吃饭无聊点就是了。 |

大热天里, 又听《大地之歌》. 贴一篇旧文.
Mahler 是在 1907 年看到这些所谓中国诗歌的。这一年用 Alma Mahler 的话来说是
“the beginning of the end for Mahler." 先是 Mahler 最喜欢的大女儿 Maria 病死
在他们的夏日别墅。回到 Vienna 不久，Mahler 被确诊为严重心脏病。短短几个月间，
Mahler 眼中的生活突然间黯淡下来。他感到来日不多了。给 Mahler 的棺材钉进最后一
根钉子的是三年之后 Alma 的外遇。
Mahler 看到的是一本叫《中国之笛》的小册子，那是 Bethge 从法语转译过来的。
Mahler 从中选了六首。分别为男高音和女中音而作。作品完成后，在他给 Bruno Walter
的信中，Mahler 坦白他也不知起个什么名字好。

。对地铁的熟悉使我们玩起来得心应手。纽约的地铁线几乎动用了所有的英文字母和阿

记得刚来的时候，一次陪朋友全家逛manhattan, 逛到Intrepid附近， 我说领事馆就在
附近， 朋友听到后大喜过望， 他们正好想给小孩办回国手续，那年头还没啥网页 （
Netscape才刚出来）电话也很难打通， 就说赶紧去问问吧。 结果人在christmas假期
没开门，只有一个老太太值班(当天是美国的工作日）。他们想就问问吧， 结果这老太
一张口比七十年代的售货员还拽，问办手续打啥电话，不知道，啥时打，不知道， 该
问谁，不知道， 啥时领事馆开门, 嘴一撇门口。然后就开始赶人了。好像我们进了门
好像对她是侵犯了领土一样。
后来我们出来后总结到：这领事馆是给“爱国侨胞”们开的。我们进了门的确是冒犯了
。
