Someone made it up or there must be more to this story:
1) I cannot find the actual reference in the newspaper
2) People do not have to pay gift tax for $60,000 gift
They just have to report it.
3) Only the banker or her friend who has knowledge might report to IRS.
4) Banks (especially Chinese bank) do not like to report unless she made it
so obvious that there might be illegal activities.
5) IRS usually does not levy/freezes account like this.
