这个比较危险。你需要特别小心一个时候只有一个 OS
操作这个 NTFS。
我不是很了解你想说的是不是 Linux 和 Widnows XP
同时 mount 了那个 NTFS 分区。如果是的话，那个
是要出大乱子的。
还有一种情况是 你的 Host OS windows 休眠到磁盘了，
然后你的 VM/Linux 读写 NTFS， 然后 Host Windows 唤醒，
那就会把 NTFS 写乱了。因为操作系统不知道休眠 的时候
有人可以绕过 OS 修改文件系统。 |

以前用parted给一个3T硬盘分了两个区，各1.5T，自然是能用的。
放了半年没用。
今天插到dockstar(刷了debian)盒子上,fdisk l，来了这么个错误。
插到windows机或router上的USB口，却没有问题。
问题复杂在这个3T硬盘上已经有了东西，不允许我放手再做parted分区。
需要插在dockstar盒子上下东西，咋整呢？

现在用了vista business一个月空间就
没了。。。
看到网上说其他什么pqmagic都不work，
就用了vista自带的partition tool。
我是C: 10G, D: 50G
D盘用了10G左右，现在想移10G给C.
发现先shrink D, 然后C盘还是不能extend,
因为shinrk D出来的那个分区和C是不连续的。
好像有种dynamic disk的说法，但是不知道
怎么搞。。。
还有种笨办法看网上说的是，先create E盘，
然后把D盘东西都考过去，再format D盘，这样
就和C盘连续了，就可以merge and extend C盘。
然后再把E盘改盘符。这也太麻烦了吧。 |

Yes I got the option. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to delete the ONLY
one existing dive (C:\). I guess it's because the current OS was installed
on this drive. There is some un-partitioned space but it's too samll (~ 1MB)
for installing the new OS.
Any way out? Thanks again! |

我硬盘三个分区，最近想在分出一个分区，用PPM划出一个新分区，点apply以后，运行
一会儿就出错，跳出个信息说：“The restart operation, that has been requested
now,cannot be performed under this 64-bit edition of Windows.
Please use Recovery CD for this purpose”， 然后屏幕就变暗，出现"force to
restart"界面，restart以后，发现PPM的分区操作根本没启作用。
谁知道这是什么原因么？是我的win 7哪里设置不对？还是PPM根本不能在win 7下面用？

I would say "No, it cannot be partitioned in that way" if I were asked of
this question.
I ever wanted to ask my advisor for this problem since his research field is
just Algebraic Geometry and he focus more on their geometrical properties,
but I gave up since I think that, if I spend the time I spend on this one
studying stochastic calculus or differential equations, it would be much
more valuable.

this partition into R^3 gives very interesting tiling with
Villarceau circles, but unfortunately with one additional line,
which makes it less attractive. not sure how to circumvent this.

发帖数: 4 | 43 刚买了台t450s，把256g的ssd分出了一个盘。现在想align partition，网上说如果
starting offset是4096的整数倍就对了。但是问题是我的partition #2的starting
offset 是117,915,484,672 这个并不是4096的倍数，我想用partition wizard align
一下却显示说已经是aligned了，不需要align。而且我用一个叫AS SSD Benchmark的软
件查了下硬盘是不是aligned，也显示没有问题。
所以麻烦想请问一下，这到底是怎么回事啊？是aligned了吗？如果不是，那有什么办
法可以纠正一下？多谢了。

orcle server 也管了一年多呀,vi editor shortcut 我也可以用一半。谁不懂
partition table啦，我的习惯是动手前多research，多做准备工作，不至于出问题后
后悔。如果有前人经验，为什么不学习一下呢。

情况下，是resize 现有的C: partition to another two primary partition, 还是在
现有的C：partition划logic partition. 两种方法那种跟适合我的情况。

system admin的经验，被你说得什么都不懂一样。气人。
