around that by asking travel agencies or hotels in Peru to book tickets for
you. I did that via llama path. They may ask a fee for around $30, but
still way cheaper than if you buy from the US. I got mine for less than $
200 including the fee (round trip Lima -> Cusco). BTW, Peru trek is an
excellent agency. I really like their services. |

接下来的功课，确实花了一些时间和精力。秘鲁有太多值得前往但我们不能全去的地方
，除了最想去的重要景点马丘比丘外，我们需要盘算如何用好这八天的假期并做好行前
准备。
起初想节约时间，尝试在进入秘鲁时先飞到库斯科，回来时才从首都利马走。达美和美
联航两家公司没有飞往库斯科的航班，进出秘鲁都只停站利马。AA和大陆两家可飞到库
斯科，但也是先停了利马再由其他公司接转的。此次我们打算用“免费”方式，于是就只能
乘达美公司航班先到利马再去库斯科了。
从波特兰到利马的机票，是用在达美航空积攒的里程换取的，另付了$73.24的税费。当
时的机票价格在860美元左右，里程换取用了七万英里，比其网站标明的多用了不少。
打电话询问，回答是依据你的目的地而定。网页上只写“PERU”并没有其他更短航程的
城市，想来也看US国内的飞行距离吧。毕竟，除去转机等候，整个航程飞行时间接近11
个小时。
上网查资料和读了一些游记，对于不了解秘鲁的我们有不少帮助，但根据我们所想和有

hour and half. This time
they gave me the visa right away. Two years ago when I applied for the same
visa, they made me
wait for 30 days since the application had to be sent to lima to be approved.
Guess there has been
a change in policy.
Here are the documents you need to apply for Peru Visa:
1. Application form (you can download from http://www.peruvianembassy.us/)
2. Letter from school/work

you get on Lan's Peru site. Other airlines operating in Peru, such as TACA,
don't have price discrimination. Everyone pays same price, but you don't

LAN PERU应该可以换，即便是LAN的子公司，也是在OW下面的Member affiliates，如同
American Eagle的地位一样，如果它坚持LAN和LAN PERU是两家公司，应用的ASIA MILE
S不同，这是有可能的。
LA 601/600肯定是可以的
在BA或QF的网站上查PARTNER里，LAN的奖励舱应该可以找到。 |

MIA-LAX段是AA替Lan Peru做的。
查了LanPass和BA（需要加入里程会）,LanPass上面只要有里程随便买，BA上就比较有
限，好歹还有一些。CX最差，不能查，需要网上递交要求，然后他们人工处理。

card才能verified by visa.
master卡的要secure code,也是要debit card,信用卡的也还是不行。
不过peru rail网站的收费系统好像也有问题，同一张debit card,刚买了一程成功。打
算再买另外一程就死活不成功了。
只好明天再试试。 |

计划就是Lima-Cusco-Inca Trail hiking—machupicchu-Cusco-Lima
看了一下Inca Trail现在的情况，8月份已经全满，9月份还有不少天有空的。
如果你的时间比我多，回到Cusco之后，推荐去看lake titicaca，我应该是来不及了。
现在飞lima的机票大约是1300-1500，depends
Inca Trail是$499
签证机票我也还都没开始办，攻略也没查，只大致看了一下，欢迎各种建议。谢谢。 |

很容易找。过去敲门半天，有个人给我开门，我说要办tourist visa，打过电话没人接

If you plan on going to Bolivia, you can go to Lake Titikaka and across
the border via boat. I didn't end up going to Bolivia. But Lake Titikaka
is incredibly beautiful and totally worth going for itself. The other city
I went was Arequipa and checked out Colca Canyon. It is such a beautiful
country, I would totally go back again someday :) BTW, I went in May, which

他说：很高兴同大家相会在美丽的利马。中国和秘鲁相距遥远，《英汉大辞典》中有一
个词语，叫“从中国到秘鲁”，意思是“走遍天下”。今天我们不远万里来到利马，共
同的目标是探讨推进亚太发展思路和举措。
央视新闻客户端在查阅《英汉大辞典》（陆谷孙主编2007年第2版）时，于第324页发现
在China“中国”词条下，列出了“from China to Peru”，其中文解释为“遍天下，
到处”。
