Instead, after showing content to the bottom of the first page, it has no
more on the next page. I found that when the first setting using 'preprint'
in documentclass, it has that kind of problem. When using onecolumn or
twocolumn, it won't. Could anyone tell me how to let latex split table in
the preprint format? Thanks a lot. |

加州大学Santa Cruz分校数学教授Andrey Todorov信件（译文）
关于卡拉比－丘流形模空间无阻碍性的证明历史，1980年 Bogomolov提出了
证明典则类为零的簇的模空间无阻碍性的方法。他的论证非常漂亮，可是只对超
凯勒情形有效。我从1986年开始研究卡拉比－丘流形模空间无阻碍性的问题。同
年我在MPI公布了预印本。1986年12月，我收到田刚的来信，说他也发现了同样
的公式，就是现在所称的Tian- Todorov公式。
1992年我到普林斯顿访问，遇到Nadal（萧荫堂的一个学生）。我从他那里
得知，田刚是一个非常不诚实的人。他告诉我，田刚在写自己的那篇卡拉比－丘
流形模空间之前，就知道了我所发表的预印本。Nadal告诉我他亲眼看到田刚在
哈佛的时候，研读我的预印本。事实上，我的文章中包含了更多的结果。

放在自己的网页上，或者其他preprint服务器上了，如果已经放出来了，你
可以把那个preprint拿来跟同事分享。
实际操作时，就算没有公开的preprint,估计很多人也会跟合作者分享。我老板
的做法是，推荐他的合作者（比如我），做这片文章的referee，这样我就可以合法
的看这个稿子。另外，老板让学生帮着审稿的多了去了。 |

发帖数: 238 | 49 差不多吧,如果老板比较忙的话,估计没什么时间做改paper这种小事,毕竟又不只是一个学
生.而且关键是,偶觉得这东西如果写得不好,他很难帮你修改,至多看看语病之类,大的东西
还是要自己搞定(这个与用英语写还是用汉语写没有关系)
digression:不知道做实验的兄弟们是否也看preprint,反正偶读过一些preprint,通常是
一些底稿之类的吧,没有正式发表的那种,但内容基本已经齐备了,提前放在数据库里共享.
偶读过一些这种paper,发现那些发很多PRL的人,preprint中语法错误也不少,只因不是
native speaker,看来这个问题真的是很普遍.
至于idea,估计还是要自己多想想吧,如果将来自己要做老板的话,这个是必须的,现在就
训练一下没有坏处.
关键是有时候实现这个idea是最麻烦的,尽管在别人看来这个过程是trivial的,对于
researcher来说,往往相反,不论做实验还是做theory. |
