一道墙，翻得过去皆大欢喜，翻不过去教练hot seat。Vince我本人不信邪，但是这
week 7和Friday the 13th同一周，是不是预示着会有很多Upset 比赛呢？带着紧张的
心情，我打开了电视，准备看全国第二Clemson轻踩Syracuse......

ESPN周五晚上两场Prime Time比赛，第一场是卫冕冠军Clemson做客到北边的Syracuse
。开局之前Clemson胜率超过90%，两队实力和talent都有差距，但是比赛却一直很焦灼
。Clemson本场比赛进攻乏力，QB1和QB2总共传球204码没有TD，靠着地面进攻113码和
防守得分拿到了3次TD。反观Syracuse，QB Dungey传球32次，成功20次，278码，三次

是世界著名帅哥汤姆克鲁斯的故乡。象许多美国城市以欧洲地名命名一样，Syracuse之
名源于地中海古国叙拉古。Syracuse位于纽约州两大跨州高速公路I-81和I-90的交叉点
，是纽约州中部重镇，上世纪初曾是米国前十名的大城市。Syracuse北接五大湖之一的
安大略湖，东，西，南三面背靠丘陵山地，周围清澈见底的河流湖泊众多，可谓湖光山
色，美不胜收，是夏天避暑，冬天滑雪的最佳去处。Syracuse距尼亚加拉瀑布近两小时

课程设置：
Rochester和Stony Brook从课程设置来看可选的偏软的课程不多,1.5年项目
Syracuse 和SCU 可以2年，偏软件课程
地理位置：
Rochester和Syracuse在Upstate NY，地理偏僻
Stony Brook在长岛，离NYC很近
SCU在硅谷中心，位置好
排名：rochester 综合30+，专业50+
syracuse 综合60+，专业60+

的。所以你飞哪一个机场都没所谓，只要从那个机场有转接到Syracuse的适当时间航班
就行。你甚至不用到纽约市来转机，在西岸转都成。
你问国内机票，估计这里没人可以回答。

论学校整体水平而言，Syracuse应该比vermont好一点。不过Syracuse文科强，理科弱
。如果lz想转专业，Syracuse倒是有几个排名不错的专业，这里的information study
和public affairs都是全美排在数一数二的位置。它的大众传媒专业也很不错。生物么
，就有些拿不出手了。 |

。而且Syracuse本科名头响，最起码大家会知道这个地方，本科学生也会不错。研究生
质量差不多，但不排除可以忽悠点syracuse的本科生留在那里。
当然如果受不了冷+下雪太多的话，WSU也差不了多少。 |

比如CIT工程被排到了97.还有各个专业的排名,CIT的ME也很后。特意去CIT的ME看了一
下，算上CIVIL的才22个FACULTY,ME这种专业，CIT的1个FACULTY还真就不能说能顶一般
学校的2个faculty。由此ME被排到了95还真挺合理的。
再看USNEWS, ME排在第3位！！！我怎么觉得USNEWS突然非常不靠谱！！

到这样一支Syracuse还拼到最后时刻，估计这赛季的路也不会好走，一对难兄难弟。
PSU的QB看起来不错，失误是有，但掩饰不了他的优点，特别是心理素质，看着挺稳的
，有潜力
赢了，23-17搞定SYRACUSE，有惊无险，拿下一场，对手虽不是豪门，但好歹也是ACC。

发帖数: 5247 | 44 今年的三月疯可能是近十年最有意思的，可惜版上篮球迷少，人气低，菠菜估计掀不起
波浪出来。我对大学篮球还算关注，在这里对一些第一轮可能有意思的，但不被传统媒
体关注的比赛说说看点，希望能吸引一些非die hard，只关注自己主队的篮球迷看看第
一轮别的比赛，感受一下MM的魅力。
Play-in round有悬念的不多，最意思的估计是vandy对wichita了。
第一轮其实有几个下克上的很好的选择，一般13 vs 4和12 vs 5的比赛都有的看，下克
上概率相对较高。其他有可能下克上（seed difference > 3)的比赛，我根据自己的了
解也列一些出来，倒不是说肯定下克上，但看起来会很有意思。
1. Maryland vs. SDSU
SDSU是传统的火枪手坐镇，战术纪律很好，活力足，athleticism一般。Maryland如果
防守纪律不够，有的一看。
2. VCU vs. USC
VCU既有P5级别的athleticism， 又有P5级别的guard play。USC在赛季后期一直
sliding down，7号种子有点overrated。
