computer intergrator that order the cards special with only the tuners.

发帖数: 49 | 2 usb Tuner 和 PCIE tuner对其他硬件的要求没有任何区别。现在99%以上的Tuner
只是起个从RF信号到bit流的转换作用。
usb2.0的速度已近远远超过电视信号的速度要求，pci的tuner都没有任何问题。
现在pcie的tuner比较多，只是兼容方面的考虑。
美国的电视信号都用Mpeg压缩。解压的硬件要求对现在的机器来说是相当低的。
且不说现在最便宜的独立显卡都能解压1080信号，即使是软解压，P4 2.6G以上
的CPU就没有任何问题了。我家5年半以前买的P M 1.5G的笔记本软解压看HDTV都可以，
虽然CPU使用100%。 很多HTPC用Atom + Ion 看1080P都好好的。
我以前用的 USB tuner + P D 2.66G，软解压1080i，CPU30%左右。启用硬件加速以后
降到
15%左右。现在用Windows 7的media center + ATI HD 4650， CPU %1以下
所以USB 或 PCIe 的tuner看电视在效果上不会有任何的区别。
（如果要作视频采集的还有一点，就是tuner带不带硬件压缩）

你的 tuner 要解码后传给显卡。
解码后的数据走 USB 通道到显卡。除非你的显卡能直接decode USB tuner 接收到的信
号。
USB 2.0 带宽不够 完整解码后的数据 传输。
USB HDTV tuner 由于功率限制，接收处理信号的带宽和能力也不强，会掉信号或错码。
差的就是完全软件解压效果还是不行。

It's $20 with $4 shipping. It's not the greatest tuner card around but if
your trying to build on a budget or don't have a tuner card and want a quick
cheap fix this is clearly the way to go.

Windows 7可能不需要TV pack 就能看clear QAM.不过我不确定。这个TV Pack是针对

tuner专指高频头, 所以tuner一定是天线或cable的信号, 要不然就是hd tuner box
fake出来的(天线)信号.
svideo就只有视频信号而已, 所以我糊涂了.
component转成svideo可以啊, 信号有点损失, 也不是很大.

从cable box出来应该有一个台的
cable box把所有的台都映射到那一个台
具体看哪个台，是在cable box里面控制
不过这个台一般在NTSC范围内，所以要确定你的tuner不是只支持HD
还有一个方法就是在cable box的前面加一个splitter，把cable一分为二
一个接cable box，一个接tuner
这样tuner可以收到所有台，不包括加密HD |

如果要看加密台
把box出来的cable接到tuner上
这样你的tuner只能收到channel 3
然后用box控制看哪个台

由于 USB Tuner 功率不够，信号接收的带宽就不够，信号会掉，会误码。
所以高清质量还是不行。USB tuner 主要就是方便使用，而不是效果。 |

同意楼上的说法
现在usb的tuner对机器要求相当高，1080信号一般需要core2duo级别的机器去解码。所
以，肯定是cpu在干活。tuner自己只是接受和转换信号而已。
不过cable确实不如ota清楚，我的华硕和pinnacle tuner都是这样。这点我不是很明白
，难道cable公司另做了压缩？

可能是 USB tuner 内部要把信号放大或其他处理需要消耗能量，所以差的 USB tuner
耗能很厉害，会比较热。但总的耗能不能超出 USB 的标准，所以好的功率高的芯片不

今天拿到了 comcast 的 modem， 接上线， 打电话 activate， 然后modem 变成了
solid green light。 应该是通了， 但是偶这个房间没有电视可以测试。
打开 windows media center， 选 TV ， live TV setup
输入 ZIP， 能找到 set-top box（1 tuner）
TV signal 选 cable，
然后就是： Windows media center cannot detect your IR receiver
有没有哪位有过类似经验？ 谢谢指点 |
