S4那个3.0是纯粹机械增压的，用了最新的Eaton TVS 4-lobe增压器
选机械增压没选涡轮增压的原因主要是packaging
因为如果是bi-turbo的话，增压器要安排在引擎两侧，一边一个
那么B8的引擎舱就会比较拥挤
如果向BMW的N63那样交换进、排气，倒是能把增压器放到中间的V型谷内
但那样引擎就要重新设计了，可能Audi觉得不划算
而恰好这时Eaton出了新的4-lobe，绝热效率大为提高
这样选择机械增压就成了一个不错的方案了
现在用Eaton TVS 4-lobe的引擎不少啦，都是好机器
除了Audi这个V6，还有Jaguar最新的510ps V8

在用啊，不出意外Chrysler也会用，如果不是TVS出现，现在机械增压恐怕已经被turbo

发帖数: 19468 | 8 机械增压大致有三种，离心式的话压气机和turbo的是类似的，也是必须高转才有效率
，转速太低会surge，既然如此不如直接上turbo了，所以用的少（例子：Koenigsegg
CCX、上代Alpina B7）
再有就是Lysholm式，或者叫twin screw，这种不那么依赖于高转速，效率也比较高，
但是噪音大（例子：E55 AMG、Ford GT）
第三种是最常见的Root式，也不依赖于高转速，但是过去的Root式是三叶式的压气机，
效率比起前两种差了很多，比turbo也差，但是因为相对最便宜，屌丝车用得比较多，
当然，高档车也有用的，总之就是最流行（例子：XLR-V、上代XKR），后来Eaton搞出
了基于四叶式TVS压气机的新一代Root式增压器，效率大大提高，噪音也比Lysholm低很
多，就有一统机械增压市场的趋势了（例子：C6 ZR1、Camaro ZL1、CTS-V、末款
Shelby GT500、Evora S、F-Type R、S4/S5……）

发帖数: 19468 | 9 有关Hellcat的一些细节：增压器居然不是Eaton TVS，而是IHI twin screw，这个效率
不比TVS差，但是噪音……估计SRT不在乎了，谁报价低用谁……
增压器出来有个类似NA V8的稳压腔，容积貌似不小，内置两个水冷中冷，不是之前传
说的四个
点火保持了HEMI的双火花塞，但是和之前的HEMI设计有了很大不同，以前是每缸一个
coil-on-plug线圈，直接带主火花塞，然后连一根线到对侧气缸的副火花塞。Hellcat
是类似MB改进版V12的一个coil-on-plug线圈同时带所属气缸的两个火花塞，看来线圈
性能提高了不少，可以连续打火了
缸体还是笨重的铸铁，缸径没变，活塞行程缩短了一点点
压缩比降到9.5，这个就看出来Chrysler没搞定直喷带来的差距了，Hellcat和LT4都是6
.2L，Hellcat是780Nm，LT4达到860Nm却保持了10.0的压缩比
Hellcat是否保留了VVT没有看到明确的说法，从构造图看貌似是有。但歇缸肯定是没有了
总之，这机器给muscle car用还说得过去，但单从技术角度讲有些过时啊…… |
