如果有的话，可以向你的保险公司询问相应的索赔程序，你保险的uninsured motorist
coverage会赔偿你车修复损失以及你受伤治疗跟康复的费用。
楼主是加州的吧？
加州法律规定如果满足以下3项中1项，需要向DMV报告事故。
1. 交通事故损失金额大于$750；
2. 有人受伤；
3. 有人死亡。 |

我去年claim的uninsured，结果今年renew的时候Progressive狂涨，Geico也涨。打电
话去问，他们说虽然不是at-fault，但是还是有影响。而且，quote保险的时候，它会
问accident in 5 years regardless of fault，根本就不管是不是claim uninsured。 |

road services一年也就十几块钱吧？如果是老车，建议买了，还是很有用的。
rental那个如果事故需要修车，保险公司给你租车，即使是对方全责你也可以先跟自己
保险claim马上租个车过渡，如果家里只有这一辆车并且所在地没有其他可选择的交通
方式，建议买了。

我的保险公司geico说如果要用uninsured的前提是对方保险确认deny coverage。但是
现在对方保险公司确认保险过期，但是居然还要调查，说至少几个星期。我不懂既然过
期了，也说了肯定不能cover，为什么还不直接跟我的保险公司说deny。
请问有什么方法能让对方保险公司尽快给我出个deny overage的声明吗。现在租了车，

然后10天就10天就华丽丽的撞车了。 本人是属于驾驶记录比较好的， 所以我自己买的
就是liability保险。于是当时提车出门的时候，我也就叫她买了个liability。结果这
一场撞车下来，我室友的责任，7500刀买的车现在要自己出$5300修车。这台小车车很
可怜的躺在修车厂三个月无人问津。鉴于我室友的前车之鉴，我默默的收起自己的flag
, 认真的研究了一下车险，现在想在这里给大家一一细致的解释一下如何选择车险。
首先呢，车险分为两个部分，出了是自己责任的事故，保险公司将依据你买的保险赔付
给对方和赔付给你的。
只赔付给对方的叫做liability，也就是上述故事我室友买的那种保险。这种保险非常
便宜，但是但凡遇上像我室友这种情况，就只能打碎牙往自己肚子里吞。

有cover你的部分(Bodily Injury),我的保险是最基本的保险都包括这个.
如果对方是别的州的,没有或者不够,他就是uninsured或者underinsured,这时候你的保
险里应该有开始cover你的这部分的,我的policy里有Uninsured Motorist Bodily Inju
ry 和Personal Injury Protection (PIP),都能给自己cover医疗的费用的样子.

3.1保险计划的各个赔付范围
保险，是一份合约（保单），它规定在受保人交保险费的前提下，保险公司在受保人和
受保车在各种情况下负多大的责任。不要被英文的合约吓到，因为这些合约的各个组成
部分都是模块化公式化的，合约只是把你选中的模块堆砌在这个合约里面，所以你不用
担心各个模块里面的文字游戏和法律陷阱。
买保险，首先要明确保险的范围或者覆盖方面（Coverage），也就是保险公司什么情况
下负责赔付谁多少。这些东西，加起来就是保险计划或者合约的主题部分。
初级部分里面已经提到，最基本的保险范围是人身伤害和财产损失，没有买这两个保险
的司机，是不能合法开车的。现在就保险范围做更广泛深入的介绍。因为学习工作都是
用英文，而且读者仍然需要用英文和保险公司打交道，所以我们在讨论这些专业名词的
时候，为了不含混，主要用英文，有时用汉语翻译一下，翻译不一定符合中国的习惯。

非是StateFarm,Farmers, Travelers, Allstate, Geico, Nationwide, Progressive.
还有如果有home insurance / renter insurance 就会有折扣. 还有deductible 不要
太低,推荐750以上 (除非你好车又经常出车祸).你可以要求列出每项收费, 例如:
Comprehensive: 750 Deductible
Collision: 750 Deductible
Bodily Injury: 250k/500k
Property Damage: 100k
Medical Payments: (有医疗保险不要算了）
