一直都只在它家注册域名。今天想transfer一个到1and1，按照其要求更新了WHOIS，
unlock了域名，同时拿到authorization code。1and1那边材料搞定，GoDaddy居然直接
给拒了
搞了半天，发现原来这里有个陷阱。一旦更新过WHOIS里面的org、first name、last
name任何一项，你的域名会被锁定60天。而在你更新的时候，会有一个确认框让你强制
选定同意60天锁定
其实ICANN早有规定，更改WHOIS信息不能成为deny transfer的理由。具体条款：

你这个情况，基本很难。原因很简单，去看看Scripps, WHOI 每年的毕业人数，然后看
看每年的 opening。基本上就明白了。你如果出身不是名校，就需要做的非常好才有可
能在 research institution/University 拿到职位。
Scripps 和 WHOI 基本上 phd 和 postdoc 互换。WHOI postdoc 一般进来就写 grant,
scripps 估计也是。不怕不识货，就怕货比货。
今年俺们这里有个 PO 的opening, 估计你也申了吧。其实申请的人没那么多 (<30)，
但是基本都是名校毕业。你的情况想要冒尖挺难，何况还是外国人。
我的建议是，沉下心来思考一个PO方向有什么可以突破的地方，或者可以跟其他学科结
合的，利用业余时间搞搞。万一给你搞出个方向来，基本上好学校就会请你去了。否则
，如果只是简单的发文章，写 grant， 挺难。因为别人也都在做啊。
