RESERVING ACTUARY
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reserving Actuary, Specialty Lines
KEY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
Reserving for various P&C specialty lines of Insurance and Reinsurance
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Insurance/reinsurance reserving and communication of results to business
units
Reserving parameterization - annual review and updates of loss development
factors and Initial Expected Loss Ratios (IELRs)
Actuarial analysis and management reporting – support the business units by
providing reserving analysis and through regular interaction with
underwriting and claims
Regulatory filing support (e.g., Schedule P and Schedule F)
Planning - provide actuarial support for planning & forecasting
Capital modeling - complete annual capital modeling exercise
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Work well in a team environment
Bachelor's degree
5+ yrs. related reserving experience, preferably with multiple specialty
lines
FCAS, ACAS, or near ACAS

在INDEED,MONSTER,CAREER BUILDER 上SEARCH "RESERVE ACTUARY",能出来几百个和这
个没啥不同的信息,你觉得一个ACTUARY不知道去哪里找工作信息?用的着需要人把一个
广告从一个网站粘贴到另一个?
我是告诉他/她怎么正确地提供工作信息.怎么态度恶劣地教训人了.

白啧为，我这贴在我自己看来就是态度恶劣地在教训人。很显然按您的逻辑，其实我也

这是他贴的第一句话，除了LOCATION外，和网上搜的有啥区别？他没说公司名字，也没
说他是否是HIRING MANAGER， 也没提是否这是他的组在招人还是别的组在招人。
一个5年EXP 的FCAS，找工作考虑的是公司前景，工作内容，公司文化，薪水福利，没
身份的还要考虑签证绿卡，没人看重RESUME能不能递到HM手里。坦白说，一个FCAS只要
把RESUME 给任何一个JOB AGENT， 都会收到电话说哪里哪里有职位，AGENT都会给递到
HIRING MANAGER 手里， 难道FCAS啥也不问，就把RESUME给他们？
我给他指出正确的方式是怎么样的，还把例子给他了，如果他是HM或者只想拿个
REFERAL BONUS， 那么他下次需要改变方式，不然不会成功。我好奇他收到一份简历了
吗？其实我更好奇为啥他不把信息写全，如果他真想招一个ACTUARY。
他的劳动？怎么说呢，如果劳动是无用功。。。反而适得其反
至于你的两个贴，没感觉是态度恶劣地在教训人，但体现了你有很多不懂，需要提高。
。。如果你还是个MANAGER。。。UM。。。。你要招人时别犯他的错误，不然招不到

我也觉得上来就管别人要简历不太好，别人对你的公司经营状况和业务前景都不太了解
，出于尊重考虑可以让人先跟你PM沟通方式，之后私下跟感兴趣的人要简历。你这搞得
跟猎头公司一样。人猎头还事先说清楚姓名客套一番吧。 |

job advertisement, nor am I interested in any referral bonus.
If you are interested but feel offended forwarding your resume to me, feel
free to contact your recruiter and ask for a P&C reserving position in
Atlanta GA. My company focus on specialty lines and reinsurance,
headquartered in London UK.
This position is still open.

opportunities here? Not qualified and hence felt left out? You must be very
difficult to get along in real life. Anybody who is interested can PM him
and ask questions before sending resume over, I don't see anything wrong
with him sharing information. If you are not interested, just move on and
read other posts, why do you go out of your way to criticize a kind-hearted
