车是VW Passat 2004 1.8T. 开了7年多了。从没Flush过 collant。
上周五,车刚打着MIL就灯亮了。自己拿OBD reader查,code = P0117 (有两个,后一
个是Pending)。试着erase了code,还把电池断开又重新接上,当时Code似乎清了,但
今天车刚打着灯又亮了。
查出来的P0117 = Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Circuit Low Input
Potential causes of the P0117 code include:
* Bad ECT sensor
* Short to ground on ECT signal circuit
* Faulty or damaged connectors
* Wiring harness damaged
* Loose terminals at ECT or PCM
* POSSIBLY an overheated engine
* Bad PCM
因为code和灯是车一打着就亮了,所以我觉得不大可能真是Engine过热。而且这两天开车还留意了水温表,基本上就在中间。
哪位兄弟遇到过这个问题?估计是要换ECT sensor还是要flush coolant?
另外月初电池死了,从附近一家专卖德国车部件的店里买了一块InterState电池。不知
道跟换电池有没有关系?

it says bad coolant temperature sensor or connection.
is your engine temperature indicator working? temperature is in middle after
engine is warmed up?

Yes. The temp is in the middle a couple of minutes after start.
