. It comes with a extra 2 yr/24000 miles limited warranty. It was a personal
lease car. When I drove home, the engine transimission light becomes on (
really bad luck).
Checked the web and found the symbol means engine transmission malfuntion
and service needed. If it is an engine issue, even if it can be fixed under
warranty, we may not want it anymore. Can we return the car tomorrow? How
should this case be handled properly?
We paied $5k by credit cared and the rest by personal check. We can call the
bank tomorrow to hold the check and call the credit card for payment hold
as well. I saw some dealers have 3 days free return periods but not sure
about this tracation. Any advice is apprecaited! |

估计大众的车还没有高级到可以自动检测 engine transmission 故障的地步。到时间
自动提醒换油还比较符合大众这个吊丝牌子形象。

以经常甚至随时的坏）， 其他的全黑车型，比如bmw 750, ML350, 这些都是只适合不
差钱的人，坏了掏钱修就好了。
你这个case应该是可以退给dealer的，今天赶紧开回去，如果你真不想要了应该是可
以退的。我们这里是三天之内。但是你当初想买个二手途锐就应该已经知道这个车的
reliability不好，否则你就买错车了。要么就买个新的。享受德国车的代价是高额的
onwer cost，而你买的车个恰恰是二手德国车里最容易坏的。

The only thing they did was to check any outside damage. I guess they
might have a policy for return within certain time frame but I did not ask.
Honestly I did not know Touareg has a bad reliability. In my mind, VW =
German Eng = Qaulity and Reliability... even better than Japanese car.
I tried three models X5, Edge and Toureg... the budget can buy a new Edge,
old X5 and a litter newer Touareg... that is why I choose this CPO Touareg.
Need to buy a mid size SUV... any expertises to share or any advices?

The price you paid can get you a brand new Durango or maybe Traverse. If I
were to buy a used car, I would have bought a non import, non luxury model
so that there are fewer parts to break down and it's cheaper to repair.
