I just drove a 2011 Nissan Titan off the lot with-out insurance so I'm
pretty sure you can buy a car with-out insurance. I did however have to have
proof of insurance to get the vehicle registered and tagged. In my case I
was registering the vehicle in a different state than the one I bought it in.
My friend just bought a used car here in California. He is still a student
driver. He was able to register it to his name, no insurance needed , just
smog certificate.

the lot, if you can drive it away without your own coverage, presumably
dealer is still covering it, but no dealer is stupid to do that, actually i

敢上路，dealer根本不管。所以这个需要保险才能开走绝对不是全国统一政策
