来美国读PhD的目的是为了掌握核心技术。当初是这么想的。。。
我现在是第一年，还没定老板，自己对表面科学比较感兴趣，这块属于nano方向，做
thin film或者自组装deposition,coating，surfactant（侧重物理活性）什么的，这个东西需要化学的不是很多。但
是找工作怎么样呢？个人觉得这个跟工业界联系还是挺紧密的吧，但是有好几个做类似
方向的在不同大学的师兄们坦言自己找工作都有点小担心。
另外就是做制药，但是我不太了解化工在制药里面是干什么的。什么热转换或者是反应
釜类似的？但是这个貌似不是制药的核心技术。。。不知道药物传递算不算？
intern对于找工作又多大的帮助？（前提是转master,毕竟老板不会让自己的phd跑去
intern）

I am now in the university of Florida.
I have done some research related to colloidal science during my
undergraduate period. But it seems that those nano technology still has the
distance away from the industrial application. And the difficulty of finding
jobs depend on its market.
Aslo, I am not sure what chemical engineer could do in drug company? Just
process of making drug, it seems not the core tech of drug area.
