campus interview, others already chose the campus visiting candidates.
Last week our department just finished phone interview, my impression is if
they said they will start to review, they will try to follow the time line.
Usually if pass the dealine one month without any update, just move on! They
won't send out rejection until they make their final decision.

发帖数: 61690 | 8 看学校了。有的学校deadline 11月份，结果到了来年的4月份才开始phone interview.
有的学校deadline后，两个星期就开始联系candidate了。
不过一般最好照着deadline投。

发帖数: 13 | 9 It really depends on which school and committee. In general, the search will
try to follow the time line. It is not very common to set up a dealine and
wait for couple months to start screening, unless there is something wrong,
such as funding, it happened a lot last year.
So, try to get in your application before the deadline, that is all and at
least what you can control,...
