Dean要求那年先招另一个方向的人, 下半年再重新把我这个方向的职位贴出来.说话的
口气非常肯定, 要我到时候再申请. 结果到现在都没看到他们再贴那个职位. | a**e

I am on the search committee this year. We want to hire two but we only have
money for one permanent line. We likeed two of our candidates and we hired
one as permanent and the other as temporary. The dean is working hard to get
a new permanent line for the next year. And we told the temporary position
taker that we will keep her if we do get the money but we can not promise that.
