现在又过了两个星期，我有一个visiting position的offer，写信去催他们（因为这个
是tenure-track），又来个回信说：
we are very close to concluding the search. i will be able to announce the
final results as soon as the dean's office allows us to do so.
我这还要再等吗？也没明确告诉我到底对我有没有兴趣的说。

我当年也是猴急，但是能忍住。后来拿到OFFER才知道当时系里一个SENIOR PROF对我简
历的一个细节提出质疑。但是我那个竞争对手没忍住反复PUSH系里做决定。所以系里
KICK HIM OUT，要我了。
