1)I had collaboration with other faculties when working in the current lab.
If I listed the names of those faculties as my collaborator in my
application package, will the school contact him/her? Should I get
permission from those faculties before I do that?
If I am not sure if he/she will say yes, then how to express my intention
that I like to continue collaborating with him/her if I can set up my own
lab.
2) As a postdoc, can I say I am an independent researcher?
