I hope you had a safe and comfortable trip back.
It was a pleasure meeting you and I very much enjoyed your talk. The search
committee is completing its tasks and reporting to the Deans early this week
. We will recommend the candidates and then it is up to the Deans to make a
decision. I guess you will be hearing within the next 2 weeks.
I hope we have a chance to work together in the future -- |

but the email looks very regular. To me, it's a neutral or even slightly
negative email.
