他让我先写 response to the review as the first step.
Also, I want to write to the Director to complain the 2nd
reviewer who gave me 2 Five, lowest among all 4 reviewers.
for two reasons:
1) didn't understand one of the two benefits getting from our proposed work
2) ask the role of a senior personnel, who is clearly described in the
application

发帖数: 151 | 4 我们学校grant office的人问：为什么要写response to the reviews?
Suggest asking the program director to clarify the purpose of the response
to the review.
As for now it is not clear whether this document will be used in the January
Council meeting to appeal the outcome of initial review and/or it will
serve just as the first step to communicate with the program director so
that he can decide on what will be the next step for our application.
不知有没有谁可指点一二，多谢！ |

发帖数: 177 | 6 你的情况应该是在Payline以外，但是比较接近。NIH的各个所一般先资助在Payline以
内的项目，然后把剩余的钱分给比较接近Payline的项目。这个时候，Council meeting
上的讨论就比较重要，它决定资助哪个Payline以外的项目，而且不是按照分数排序。
你的response在这个时候，就会发挥作用，PD可以此为依据推荐或者不推荐你。不建议
complain。在Response中,有理有据的对Rev2的comments逐条客观反驳就好，不要带主
观色彩。就像对待文章的评审意见一样。PD会根据你的Resposne自己做出判断。

The due day for submitting the response is January 10.我可不可以现在让the
director 看看我的current version of my response, 让他给些建议for further
improvements.
