诉我们要扣多少钱。直到８月５号，才收到房东寄出deposit余款。房东扣了我们$1,
215.73的deposit。就地板一项就扣了$635（材料费:$223.16，安
装费.$412.00）。房东的地板是Laminated Wooden Floor。我们搬家时不小心弄坏了约
２个quarter大小面积的地表 )，房东说他找不到人只换坏了的那一块，所以把整个房
间都换了。请问就这样合理吗?
还有厨房的瓷砖烂了一块，房东扣维修费$135.00，实际上去home depot买一块瓷
砖也就２块钱。
总觉得扣$1,215.73的deposit太多了（我们当时的房租是$１２７５／月），可是
也不知道该怎么去argue,大家能否帮忙想想办法，多谢了！

发帖数: 1550 | 3 这个你要查一查佛州对租房的规定，对返还deposit是有时间要求的。像你们6月25日搬
出，8月5日才收到剩余的，时间有点长了。
而且你可以要求每项的收据，表明他真换了地板。
老有人说和房东作斗争的例子，如果有时间可以娱乐一下，如果没有，就算了

Florida's Landlord/Tenant Law中关于deposit的规定是这样的。
When you move out, the landlord must either return your deposit within 15
days of termination of the rental agreement, if the landlord does not intend
to impose a claim upon the security deposit; or justify in writing by
certified mail, to the tenant's last known mailing address within 30-days
upon termination of a rental agreement, as to why they are keeping a portion
of or all of the deposit. If the notice is not sent as required within the
30-day period, the landlord forfeits his/her right to impose a claim upon
the deposit, unless you fail to give proper notice prior to vacating.
Section 83.49, 3(b)(c), F. S.
Unless you object to the imposition of the landlord’s claim or the amount thereof within 15 days after receipt of the landlord’s notice of intention to impose a claim, the landlord may then deduct the amount of his or her claim and shall remit the balance of the deposit to you within 30 days after the date of the notice of intention to impose a claim for damages. If you object to the landlord’s claim you may file a complaint with the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services or institute an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to adjudicate the landlord’s right to the security deposit.

我们现在已在外州，都不知道要不要打官司，如果打官司还得请假、坐飞机、住宾馆--
还挺折腾的。
想先找个律师咨询一下，也不知道在哪里可以找到中国律师的电话？ |
