A few years ago SI traced the mother of a suspected over-the-age little
league baseball player in the Dominican Republic. The age limit was
supposed be 12 or under.
The mother confirmed that her boy was indeed 14. She was 28.
And here's the punch line: he was her SECOND son.

The guy had a 88 mph fastball. Ain't no way any 12-yo kid was gonna hit
that, or even see that.
"Law & Order" even made an episode based on his story, I think, about greedy
agents killing for talented baseball prospects from Central America.
