PITTSBURGH – At the moment of truth, the mouth that roared loudest – and
most successfully – was that of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

With two minutes remaining and Pittsburgh clinging to a five-point lead
facing third-and-6 from the New York Jets’ 40-yard line, Tomlin walked over
to his offensive coaches and said in so many words, “We’re playing to win,
throw the ball.” One benefit of going against the grain: The other side
isn’t expecting it.
“I was actually shocked they didn’t run the football,” Rex Ryan said.
We weren’t going to play not to lose,” said Tomlin, whose Steelers
eventually ran out the clock after the game-deciding 14-yard connection from
Ben Roethlisberger to Antonio Brown. “That’s why we threw the ball to

Miller on a bootleg on second down prior to that and we got that first down“
After the game in Pittsburgh, Roethlisberger said his play was improvised,
with the first option a pass to Hines Ward:
“It was kind of intended for Hines. We kind of expected them to bring the
house. They dropped everybody, so as soon as I saw them leave, it was a
really, really tight window in order to get it to Hines. My thought was,
‘Let’s try and run it.’ I started running to the sideline and, next thing
you know, AB comes flying across the field. I just threw it and he made a
heck of a catch.’’ |

ridicules,如果没成的话.打这个play之前还叫了暂停, 如果没打成,就是自杀. 好在打
成了,要不然Tomlin就要和Colts得主头小队长一争高下了. 要说Steelers这两个Rookie
WR也还争气,季候赛打得有声有色,有点初生牛犊不怕虎的意思. |

去。关键时候老choke，让人恨得牙痒痒。04年冰天雪地地去看AFCC，结果被拍子打得
找不到北，完全被out coached，当然也许是spygate的受害者。08年那次比较爽，马路
一个INT TD，全场炸了，和加州的小地震有一比 |

a little bit. That's why you see the trick play. It's not his normal style.
Maybe his wife's sickness made him wonder about life and break through his
psychological barrier.

steward换成
现在的大本，就不会输了。96年超级碗打牛仔，也同样。
我看港人十来年，基本上每场都看了，最大的感受是，没有牛逼两毛五，光靠防守和跑
共是拿不了超级
碗的，尤其是在这鼓励进攻，照顾QB的年代。以前老说打steelers football,常规赛
running牛的
一塌糊涂，一到季后赛就被人掐死。bus季后赛基本没打过impressive game.
这次打喷气机，能run,主要是jets的game plan 是stop大本。

也就跟1st down没拿到后punt差不多

as possible and will kick to jets for defence to work out the time. They

spike了，结果一个td没了。it离开钢人的时候把桥烧了，三通这次AFCC前也烧桥了。
其实今年回来好几个，都是走的时候没烧桥，在外头赚了点钱又乐呵乐呵地回来，说不
定又拿一戒指。 |

starting guard. 但是他后来得了糖尿病，身体出问题了。

使steelers可以成功的run spread

我第一次在美国看球就是在和你们看的港人和泰坦的（外卡？），这厮掉了一个稳稳的
1st down，结果
后面那个drive, 让Mcnair跑死了。印象深刻，从此走上钢饭不归路。。。
