啊？比如说2轮换的海军上将，或者西雅图3轮+5轮换的马林次，居然当时就这样成交了
？都没有人抢？你第2轮有多少把握能选到一个star wideout without any guranteed

当打之年star不是draft picks能换来的。
另外，关于工资和cap hit不是一回事儿。
你说的bonus没错，原队一般在新签合同的两年之内已经pay掉所有的bonus了，但是cap
value却都留到后面几年了。
比如说某球星签了一个比较常见的front loaded的5y 50M的大合同，其中15M signing
bonus, cap value平均分配到5年中，每年3M，另外，第二年有12M的roster bonus，ca
p value平均分配到余下的4年中，每年也是3M。由于该球员在第一年和第二年分别能拿
到15M和12M bonus,那么对于base salary没有任何要求，这样五年的base salary可以是
这样：1M,2M,6M,7M and 7M.那么每年的cap value分别是4M,8M,12M,13M and 13M. 通过
交易换超级明星，确实在money方面可以省去不少，但是NFL的owner都是无所谓多花钱的
，而且一般都是花到最大限度。然而cap hit才是最关键的。

而且这个跟原来球队要不要没有关系吧。jay culter当年闹那么大，也还拿到了两个
first rounder plus an average qb. 我有个iphone不想要了，也不可能卖两块钱吧。
这个是由market value决定的，and my question was, why so low of a market

发帖数: 477 | 4 刚去查了一下马超的合同，今年和明年的base salary都是9.3M，对于要重建的倒粪来说
是不值得留的，何况明年合同到期也未必能留下来。看看今年Mike wallace被放的一轮
tender也没人碰，考虑到既要花大价钱还得赔pick，所以WR的价值也就2轮到头了。当然
威震天妃子这种除外。RB的话，一般GM都自信2，3轮能弄到super star级别的，所以tr
ade value很低。副教授级别的除外。
你说杰小卡，QB的价值不是其他位置能比的。当年坐在家里等退休的泡沫还换到第一轮
加第二轮，考布这种货色还换了一轮秀CB科罗马第加一个第二轮，再看看RG3值多少个p
ick，看看今年下课的GM和HC有多少是被烂QB坑的。

发帖数: 4276 | 5 again, it doesn't matter to whatever reasons that the old team wants to dump
the player, it is why other teams did not jump for what looks to me to be a
very good buy? 9.3M being only base for each of next 3 years is pretty
pretty good bargain for a player like Marshall. WRs with his caliber
commands a lot more with guaranteed money and guaranteed cap hits.
If it does not work, just cut him with no financial obligation (or cap hit).
It is not the same as Mike Wallace. First, to sign him, you have to give up
your first rounder regardless of the position. Many teams that need a #1
wide out has a high draft pick. So it is a lot more steep price. And you
cannot negotiate to maybe swap first rounders or get Steelers 2nd round back
like you can in trade talks. 2nd, you have to sign a new contract with Mike
Wallace which will include guaranteed financial obligations. 3rd, Marshall
is simply better player on the field.
And it is not only Marshall. We see multiple veteran star trade each year,
barely anyone was for more than 2nd rounder except when you trade with the
Raiders. Jammal Brown, a then pro bowl left tackle, only got a 4th round????
? What was that? Why did no one else jumped?
How likely is to get an all pro WR in 2nd round, a pro bowl RB in 3rd round,
or a pro bowl LT in the 4th round??? I know it is possible, but is that
safer than the veteran stars?
QB is definitely important, but why are other positions so undervalued?
