salary exceeds your expectation more, which makes you feel like Rodgers are
underpaid.
the other thing is mathews previous contact was a rookie contract, while
Rodgers was not, so the jump in salary may seem a lot bigger.
and Rodgers has 2 more years left. his number will be bigger if there is
only 1 year left, and much bigger if he is a free agent. that's exactly why
packers have to sign him 2 years ahead.
