job, team owner Bob McNair is not one of them. Especially not after what he
saw in the Texans' 17-16 loss to undefeated Kansas City on Sunday.
"How could anybody get a team playing harder than this team is playing?"
McNair said. "I don't know how anybody can criticize him. You tell me. How
are you going to get them to play harder than that when you've got two of
your best players out, your starting quarterback is out. You're still out
there playing right down to the wire. What more can you ask of your coaches?"
The Texans (2-5) have lost five games in a row after winning their first two
this season.
With Houston coming off back-to-back AFC South championships, McNair said
before the season that this was the most talented team he's ever had. He's
owned the Texans since their inception in 2002.
The Texans won their first game in each of the past two postseasons, then
lost in the next round.
And although their start this year isn't what was expected, McNair thinks
injuries played a major factor in Sunday's loss. Quarterback Matt Schaub was
out with an ankle and foot injury, running back Arian Foster departed early
with a hamstring injury, and Brian Cushing also left for good with a knee
injury.
"I think the team performed very well today," McNair said. "I don't know how
you're going to do better." | P*******e

不错了。
要拿super bowl，烧布肯定不行，苦比雅克也可能不行。 | P*******e
