As I always say, be confident. The professors are human-beings
too. Not every word coming out from their mouths has been pondered.
You cannot expect them to pay very much attention when dealing
with dozens of approaching emails daily.
Be yourself and set up a goal. Money is important

But you should know that as a student, if we cannot be given any grant we have
to pay tuition and all other materials. Life is very hard since we are not
rich.
This is also the reason most students want to get support from some professors
or university.
