Both are using XP and can access each other shared media using WMP 11.
My Xbox 360 is connected to the same wireless router by an Ethernet cable.
I set up my laptop to bridge between the wired and wireless network, so that
the 360 can access the media library on the wireless network.
My Xbox 360 can see my laptop and play the media physically on it. The WMP
of my desktop can find the Xbox360 in "share media" session, but |

发帖数: 281 | 5 I am not an expert on network. My experience is that my 360 can not even
find the laptop unless I have my laptop connect to the router via a Ethernet
cable.
That is why I thought a bridge maybe needed for this. It worked for my
laptop but not the desktop.

发帖数: 281 | 7 It seems that you are right that I don't need the bridge. It is wired that
somehow it is working now. It is probably I forgot to turn off the firewall
on my desktop.
