Dual Hex-core Intel Xeon X5660 (Westmere)
而旧一点的可能还是FSB模式,比如
Dual Quad-core Intel Xeon E5472 (Harpertown)。 | s*******s 发帖数: 1250 | 2 Afaik i7 processors have it, however you wont probably ever use it on

Intel Xeon 5500 processor series, the Intel Core i7 series (Nehalem), and the AMD Opteron processor series | y**b
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_QuickPath_Interconnect
The QPI is an element of a system architecture that Intel calls the QuickPat
h architecture that implements what Intel calls QuickPath technology.[4] In
its simplest form on a single-processor motherboard, a single QPI is used to
connect the processor to the IO Hub (e.g., to connect an Intel Core i7 to a
n X58). In more complex instances of the architecture, separate QPI link pai
rs connect one or more processors and one or more IO hubs or routing hubs in
a network on the motherboard, allowing all of the components to access othe
r components via the network. As with HyperTransport, the QuickPath Architec
ture assumes that the processors will have integrated memory controllers, an
d enables a non-uniform memory access (NUMA) architecture. It was first rele
ased in Xeon processors in March 2009 and Itanium processors in February 201
0.
Although some Core i7 processors use QPI, other Nehalem desktop and mobile p
rocessors (e.g. Core i3, Core i5, and other Core i7 processors) do not - at
least in any externally accessible fashion. These processors cannot
participat
e in a multiprocessor system. Instead, they directly implement the DMI and P
CI-e interfaces, obviating the need for a "northside" device or a processor
bus of any type.
我猜想即使是支持QPI的i7也不支持多处理器互联,也就不支持NUMA。
