onsite服务的机器，好像和不买售后的产品线不一样。不知道是不是原料不同。不过听
起来挺合理。这种出货第一的厂商，有足够量可以这样搞。如果产品质量都一样好，那
么造价就高了，换机也不频繁了。如果造的都很烂，没买保的2年烧了主板正好，买
onsite的一百多要你派人去各种修就亏大了。联想这种靠硬件赚钱的，这样做很是有点
可能的。

just rumors. I don't believe it is true.
having a separate assembly line and maintaining different QA standards
double manufacturing cost for nothing, it makes no sense from lenovo's
perspective.
plus, lenovo gives 3 years warranty for parts. onsite vs non-onsite makes
little difference.

只是用料不同。
不买额外保险thinkpad只有1年parts，并不是三年。如果联想1年parts保修和4年上门
保修的材料是一样的，那么他们的成本控制部门就太nice了。

then I have a counter example for you. I looked at my x1c order last year,
which I bought 3 year parts. the timing was exactly the same: Nov. 21
ordered, Nov. 25 shipped. It is identical to my x1 yoga order this year (
which has 1 yr part).
again, I think it is something you'd like to believe. still makes no sense
to me.

至于为什么这么快，或者楼主为什么那么慢，是根据订单和库存的。你买的估计都有库
存。如果定多年保修的人少，那么库存少，一旦没有货了就要等排班制作。而一年保是
缺省，订的人多，所以存货多的可能性大。寄出时间短。
现在寄出时间变化那么大，只能说支持这个推论。

on the other hand, the quality of thinkpads is solid. that's why I kept
buying them (aside from my preference to trackpoint)
among the 7 thinkpads I purchased (2 personal, 5 for work, but I use some of
them on a daily basis) over the past 15 years, the only problem I had was
two disk failure for a T510. I also had a memory failure for my T21 after 6
years. Batteries will degrade, similar to other laptop of the same age.

都可以去死了？还是联想售后不包括软件支持？而且后来也确认了是主板问题。

手笔三个字别人就认不出你是原来那个大傻逼了？
