I got GC as well as my all my family members today!!! Great, finish this
journey after 4 .5-year-long way to GC! I should thank this site and the
contributors for providing the forum and useful experience!
I wrote a topic about my EB1b approval after twist on Jan. 17, 2010 and
wanted to give you a link to that, but I just could not find that paper.
Perhaps it was deleted. Anyway, here is my experience to share.
10.2005: EB2 through PERM,
12.2005: I140 application, approved 03.2006

Do you file the EB1B application by your own lawyer or by the company? | m****a

I also got the letter from IO to submit a formal request to relink in
writting. I did it last Tuesday. Looks like asking for written request is a
stand procedure for relinking.
Hope it's my turn soon.

To Chempoly:
Absolutely you should try EB1 with your similar-to-me background! You will
feel it is really not a big deal to get EB1b approved and I know some weaker
background got approved. I filed my case which was supported by center
through the same lawyer as I used in my EB2. As far as I know, in my center,
Outstanding category always use lawyer, but I might be wrong.
To USCIS2010:
I agree with you that being asked to provide a written request is working

I just checked back my EB1b I140 form: in Part 3, information about the
person for whom you are filing, indeed, the A no. is required if you have
any. I fiiled in mine for EB2.
