but my school HR's emplyment verification letter says position is regarded
as permanent.
If I send both letter plus my boss's letter with support of continuing
employment, would that be good ?
I worry the formal letter's 12-month period can cause me some problem. How
is/was that in your case ?

to you without determined termination date on it. I guess unmatched
evidence will cause you problem
if they are willing to give you an employment verification letter, they can
provide a same copy, just address it to you. |

appointment period: 12 month appointment
limited term/appointment end date: [blank]
contingent upon funding: yes
employment status: regular
serve at the pleasure: no
It has 12-month period and there is a start date, but did not specify the
ending date.
Would this letter be a problem ? thx. |

be considered as temporary job. end of the 12 months will be end date for
your appointment according to this offer. you can have the "at all-will"
type of offer, which will be considered as permanent job. (Means both
parties can end the job at anytime). |

supporting letter (as offer letter. Make sure he didn't put any time
limitation on it). |

see UCSIS realize this for UNIVERSITY because they count on funding.
make your own research, not learn to others, even me.EB1B is initially set
for University researcher (not just for tenure track faculty) |
