US passport is fine for all purposes except for sponsoring spouse/step
children G325A situation.
So if you think your child will need to sponsor his/her future spouse's GC,
you can file N-600. |

certificate or DOS's certificate (US passport in NOT that), he has to show
naturalization kind of certificate. Your kids won't have any of those (
because US passport does not count) So he won't pass as the citizen
petitioner of an application that requires a mandatory biographic
information. |

c**2 发帖数: 8496 | 6 I should rephrase. If you are US born, passport is enough.
If you are not and especially minor child automatic citizenship from the
parent and submitting passport as proof of citizen, you WILL get RFE for a
Nxxx type of certificate.
But of course, the child is US citizen. Just that USCIS wants more money if
this type of USC want to be I-130 petitioners. |
