发帖数: 1631 | 1 刚从学校internatinoal center回来，学校的h1b advisor照着显示器一条条的读规定
（看得出他以前没办过此类case），说我的h1b不能extent，因为h1b一年内六年期限就
到了。并说如果有priority date要等才能file485的类别才能file h1b exension。
是这样的么？ 我怎么记得140 （1a）过了就能延期h1b的啊？ |

一年一年的续，我是485 pending，然后过了一会儿说研究了下，如果绿卡在pending也
可以续。。 |

In limited circumstances, H1B visa status can be extended beyond 6 years if:
1. The foreign national is the beneficiary of an approved I-140 petition.
2. The foreign national is the beneficiary of a PERM petition or I-140
petition that was filed over 365 days ago.
3. The foreign national is recapturing time spent outside the US during the
past 6 years in H-1B status.
所以让学校再去学习一下吧。。
