and you are within the validity range, you can (and actually need to) work.
That has nothing to do with when you received the actual document.
The lawyer is just playing extra safe to cover his own ass, just in case
uscis didn't grant the applied starting date.
Let's start from the begining. In the I129 form, it states your "applied" h1
duration, e.g, 11/24/2009-11/23/2012. Usually people just apply for 3 years

律师说她is not sure whether 正式的approval notice需要出境签
其实我更糊涂了
出境签的批复和直接境内申请的批复一样吗？

发帖数: 247 | 10 My lawyer is preparing documents for the transferrign for me. He wrote in
the email that, once they file, I can start to work.
My knowledge is, however,once I get the formal receipt from the Immigration
office, not the approval notice, I can start work in the new company.
What does the "file" mean? Submit?
Can someone clarify this? Thanks a lot!!
