For a engineering background student who want to transfer to IT as a coder.
我自己写过一些不小的coding project, 本科C, 数据结构, OS, networks, database
都上过, 不过也就是考试 | w**z

There are many IT jobs.
The closer to database, the better life style. (you may not understand what

OS. I think I can read cousres slides of network and video of database.
I find data mining and machine learning overlap some in terms of content.
but I prefer ML.

data mining, machine learning are sort of 锦上添花的东东。I don't think you
can do the real job if the only experience you have is the two course works.
Those are the "buzz" word. Get the foundation solid first.
These are the 2 cents from a 码农 with 10＋ years experience.
