A top oil & gas fields service company in Houston, TX is hiring a mechanical
engineer (open immediately). Please see below descriptions for details. If

Qualifications:
• M.S. with 3+ years of industrial experience or Ph.D. in
mechanical engineering or solid mechanics.
• Experience in mechanical testing and data acquisition preferred.
• Experience in Finite Element Analysis preferred.
• Skills in using 3D CAD software a plus.
• Familiarity with material and manufacturing process a plus.
• Self-motivated and creative.
• Ability to handle multiple and diverse functions with minimal
direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well individually or in a group.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
Position Overview:
Design experiments to evaluate cutting components for all engineering groups
. Perform data acquisition and data analysis. Write lab report and discuss
test results with different groups. Provide supports for continuous
improvement of product design and manufacturing process. Develop new PDC
cutting components. |
