A top oil field service company in Houston is hiring a R&D mechanical
engineer.
Qualifications:
• M.S. with 3+ years of industrial experience or Ph.D. in
mechanical engineering or solid mechanics
• Available to join the group immediately
• Extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis
• Experience in mechanical testing and data acquisition
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
• Self-motivated and creative Ability to handle multiple and
diverse functions with minimal direction
• Skills in using 3D CAD software
• Familiarity with material and manufacturing process a plus
• Work well individually and in a group
Position Overview:
Perform FEA simulation to aid the design of new cutting components. Design
experiments to evaluate cutting components for downhole drilling.
Provide support for continuous improvement of product design and
manufacturing process. Develop new PDC cutting components.
Perform data acquisition and data analysis. Write lab report and discuss/
present test results with different groups.

的业绩
