analysts to join our engineering teams in search, advertising, and
infrastructure. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding
environment to start your career or if you already have a successful career

group will grow by several people over the next several months. Our team's
day-to-day work is full of examples of truly big data problems you can
encounter at Google. We analyze all the traffic on advertisements served to
Google's partner sites in the Google Display Network. In the process we get
to analyze a significant proportion of all advertising traffic on the entire
internet. Doing data analysis "at Google scale" means that every member of
my team has free access to one of the world's largest and most powerful
computing and networking infrastructures. If you join us you will learn all
the amazing internal tools that only Googlers get to use while drawing on
your own training and experience in outside tools like R. (Yes, we use R
code in production systems at Google!) We have a huge variety of analytic
needs here, including repeated measures, sparse data, experimental design,
causal inference, auction theory, optimization, and simulation.
