McDonald's confirmed on Thursday that its Twitter account had been "
compromised" after a tweet from the company was posted that criticized
President Donald Trump.
The tweet was posted to the company's corporate Twitter account, which has
151,000 followers, just after 6 a.m. and was deleted. McDonald's also has a
consumer-facing Twitter account, which has 3.39 million followers.
The tweet called Trump a "disgusting excuse of a President" and said that it
wanted former President Barack Obama back in the the White House. It also
poked fun at the size of Trump's hands.
