我家前院没有草坪就是有些植物剩下的地是mulch.
结果小狗总是跑到邻居的草坪上拉尿，这样下去
邻居该不满意了。 |

我家前院几平米把mulch恢复成草坪，后院几平米弄掉菜地。
确实不多的地方准备自己弄了。
这样小狗前院不用去别人家草坪祸害，后院也不用糟蹋我的菜地了。
我没弄过草地，不知道现在是不是好时候还是需要等等。

一开门跑到对面草坪上去。
后院的菜都被她啃了。 干脆自家弄上草坪，省得各种麻烦。

其实我这的hd只有一种草皮，只要种下能活就行。

answer. Anyhow, here is what you need to consider.
There is general consensus about the best time to lay sod: when the grass is
actively growing. For warm season grasses, it is generally late spring/
early summer, and for cold season grasses, it is generally fall or spring.
Note this is the ‘best’ time, not the ‘only’ time to lay sod.
There is no consensus about laying sod in the winter. Some (1) say you can
lay sod when the ground is frozen and/or even when the sod is frozen (
unfreeze the sod before laying though). Some (2) say you can lay sod
whenever the ground isn’t frozen. And some (3) say that you should avoid
winter altogether. I think it is all about probability. 3 has the best
chance of survival, 2 next and 1 might have a slight higher chance of the
grass being dead when spring comes. I don’t know the actual probability
though. Also 1 and 2 needs more care in the winter (e.g. more proper
wartering requirements and less traffic tolerance). I myself won’t do 1 or
2 unless I can’t wait, and in which case I’d like to have the sod company
to provide some kind of warranty (like the grass should be green when
spring comes).
So the answer to your original question basically depends on your risk
tolerance.
Alternatively you can also try to plant the grass from seeds yourself,
although it is more work and takes more time for the grass to establish.
A note about dog urine: It is very bad for the lawn. It will turn the patch
to brown if not diluted by water immediately, and the brown patch is
unsightly and takes quite a while to come back. |
