I can't type HanZi now. I will give you more detail later.
First, You need to know the size of opening. normally half inch plus your
window.
second, cut your interior wall. you may need to cut one stud of the frame
depending the size of your window. I will give you a photo to show it. The
standard distance between stud is 16 inches. Try to plan your work and
minimize the number of cuttings. the less the better to protect your house.
Third, cut the exterior wall and siding.
Fourth. prepare the opening frame using 2*4" wood stud.
Fifth, Seal the opening with special sealing tapes.
Sixth, install the window. Adjust the level and screw it to the frame.
Finally, seal the trim and add inside and out side trimming.
You can Google it and check some video on Youtube. I taught myself since I
want to skip the permit for the tiny window in the bath. Let me know if you
have any question.

发帖数: 10502 | 11 新开一个挺麻烦，要开墙沿洞口一圈加固，搜索window framing就可以。
然后装窗户，防水、补内墙及油漆、窗台、内外线脚、窗帘等，有管线的话还得绕行重
布，很大一工程。
看窗户大小，请人干，工钱至少得上千。

发帖数: 62 | 13 厉害，不知道你第四步是不是指加固，切了stud后，这一步还真是要做的。
另外楼主，你如果没做过任何的木工，建议你最好先看看视频，练习一下基本功。比如
你这个project，你起码要熟练使用circular saw。加窗户已经是木工里有点难度的工
程了。

发帖数: 62 | 14 楼主，你如果原来没做过木工的话，需要多看看视频。你这个project，至少要会用
circular saw或jig saw，如果要做个窗框的话，有可能有table saw更方便一点。
加窗户已经是木工里不简单的活了。楼上的兄弟自己做是非常handy了。
这个kuku也讲的很好，防水、补内墙及油漆、如果还要改电线，都不是一下子能弄好的
。不过这些你都能自己弄好的话，装窗帘你就觉得是nothing了。
如果是浴室，要切瓷砖的话就更麻烦。敲掉旧瓷砖，就费老鼻子劲了。 |
