其实除了这一场输给Illini, 另外2场失利也都是预料中的,毕竟年轻队员和伤病太多.
只是这3场输球都是完败, 还差点输给Temple, 让人看得很丧气. |

really want him to stay another year? Does he hold back PSU football program
like Bowden did? Do you have a candidate to replace him? We did coach-in-
waiting and it worked great for us. |

能时不时打个BCS bowl我觉得就很好了。但是JoePa退了也未必就一定能好到哪里去。
PennState历史上也就2个national champ，总体成绩不错，但拔尖的时候也不多。
JoePa在PSU的地位可能和Bowden在FSU的不太一样(no offense to Bowden)。他是一辈
子在PSU执教,影响远超出了football。他们两口子已经给学校捐献和募集了N多钱了(我
们的图书馆，最近搞了一个Spritual center，还有几个endowed professorship)。老
爷子还和老布什和福特两个前总统是故交，也算朝中有人了。最近我们在B-10分区的有
利位置，也有老爷子德高望重的功劳。
PSU的football也是个家庭氛围非常浓的program，多少祖孙、父子都是给JoePa打球。
这种氛围下，只要成绩没有太烂，学校的收入不受太大影响，他自己不退,没几个人敢
让他退。以JoePa的性格和生活方式,很可能就一直干到实在干不动为止.
至于继任人选,最大可能是DC Bradley.鉴于这伙人已经一起coach了很长时间,即使
Bradley上任,其他coach估计也都会留任，不会有啥革命性变化，除非成绩真的很难看.

him. Bowden didn't do even remotely close to that. In fact, in last 10 years
, he held FSU football in hostage. He asked to 'coach' one more year because
he bought a huge land in Panama City, Florida and needed another one some
million to pay it off. He forced our AD to bend rule to hire his son, Jeff,
and was angry when the AD forced Jeff to resign. He and university president
TK purposely revealed the academic cheating scandal to ouster the AD. In
the end, our trustee 'fired' him and TK. Finally I am a happy fan in
Saturdays. I attended Fisher's first game in president's box and have a
football signed by Fisher. I hope he will bring FSU to ACCCG this season. So
far so good.
