I think Dunn is gone though. He stated he does not like Spread offense. I
think he will go to Michigan. He knows Meyer is a big time spread coach and
Meyer will call some offenses himself.. But I don't think we are weak on RB
position.

when he had to play John Brantley. Look what happened to Gators in '10. Flat
out miserable. He is a great offense mind but spread options seems to be
the only scheme he is capable of.

One thing I think you did not notice is the lack of RB groups in Florida.
When Brantley took over the QB job, he never had a big RB to back him up for
the running game and we all know for a successful passing game you need to
mix with a good running game to set up play action passes. Meyer failed in
that case because he did not bring any good RBs. This is what he needs to
avoid. But he has a handful full of in depth RBs at Ohio State and if he
brings the OC from LSU, I don't think we should be worried about him running
the I-formation. In fact, Ohio State has been playing the multiple
formation for years.

发帖数: 11017 | 7 Brantley and Meyer had Emanuel Moody, a PAC12 freshman of the year from USC
for three yrs but couldn't get anything out of him.
He tried to recruit big RBs every year at FL. He was close at landing RBs
like CJ Spiller, Jamie Harper, Amando Allen, and Darrell Scott but failed to
get any one of those. BTW, he tried to steal Trent Richardson as well.
His offense seems to fit small and nifty backs like Rainey or Demps. A
mobile QB like Tebow could be his top rusher too. But not for a traditional
bruise back. He simply has no idea of how to develop them. That was the
reason why Stab Drayton got into problem with him.

发帖数: 11948 | 8 Well, now he has big RBs and coach to develop. I personally don't know if
Stay Drayton is capable of developing these RBs but I know Meyer will adapt
to whatever he has with him. Miller is far from a Tebow like guy and Meyer
still expressed huge interest and excitement of developing him as a super
talented QB. I don't think he will use him as the way he used in Tebow,
which I believe, he will use RBs to help Miller. OSU has a tradition of
bringing good RBs, as long as Meyer has a good OL, I don't see him having
problems. Speaking of using RBs, the current OL/OC of LSU is a very good guy
and if Meyer gets him like the rumor says, OSU will be undefeated.

UM 这么个聪明绝顶的教练，最后两年在 SEC 着实被 power running 揍了个遍，他不
可能没有改变。
看看SOS，我没见过fun and gun, 但他在南卡打的是变本加厉的 power rush，宁愿使
出200%的蛮力也不投机取巧
所以，UM很可能走SOS的老路，彻底向蛮力派靠拢。
这，才是无产阶级的唯物史观。 |
